Blood pressure drug, amlodipine, could be a safer alternative for treating ADHD symptoms. Study found that in rat and zebrafish models of ADHD it significantly reduced hyperactivity. UK-wide patient data showed that people on it had fewer mood swings and less risk taking behaviour.
