I've got a rock collection from all over the US, Mexico, S America, Asia... Got to wondering, if a geologist were to study my collection, how much could they pinpoint the regions I got them from?

Has there never been any other Vavřínite specimens ever photographed? And there are no 'visible' examples of this species?
I have discovered some Dioptase specimens from the Congo that have a golden-yellow, earthy mineral on their matrix. Does anyone know what this mineral might be?
