If you feel up for an adventure, entry level fountain pen with document or waterproof ink. (I'm assuming from your question that you don't have experience with fountain pens and bottled ink...apologies if that is not the case. 😊)

Excellent! If you're getting in to pen/paper journaling, you may really enjoy the aesthetics and tactile feel of a fountain pen. For beginners, I recommend something like a Platinum Preppy or a Pilot Kakuno. They're both inexpensive and pretty easily accessible in many areas of the world, but write really nicely for the price. Then, if you like it, you can always invest in an upgrade. For bottled ink for journaling, I really like the De Atramentis "Document" line of inks. Very nice variety of colors, waterproof, and they are generally well-behaved user friendly inks. Have fun!
