What's wrong with my cucumber plants? I'm in zone 7a upstate sc. I fertilized with espoma garden tone 2 weeks before planting and monthly after planting. Is it a viral disease?

Newly planted (3 days ago) bare root dwarf sweet cherry tree in 10 gal container. Zone 7b. It's 45 inches tall measured from the soil. Should I prune it lower or make a heading cut? Or should it grow as is? How should I best go about training the tree? It's on gisela 5 rootstock if that helps.
