Yeah, the title is a little misleading. It was definitely more of a light bulb moment for me realising that he really disliked huge parts of my personality. I’ve said in other comments but I think it’s okay for him to have those preferences, or to not like Charlotte’s content, just like your fiancé. It’s just a difference in what you like to watch. For him though, it was a dislike for the humour and personality under it, and instead of handling it, or even finding someone else to match what he wanted, he tried to force me to change. I am much happier now, and all these wonderful people in the comments have really solidified my resolve about this decision. 😊
