With CHX trades, there are special regulatory exemptions for QCTs that allow someone to open a massive bull position without affecting the price by selling puts + delta hedge shares together then buying back the shares soon after, spiking the price.

The CHX event is crazy.

Today's afternoon price action was NOT random and actually happened exactly when it was supposed to. Chicago trades are over the desk and typically QCT's. It means that they happen if and only if some other conditions are met. Whatever the reason though, they front run the price by 30-60 min.

I’m late to the game today, but the Computershare recurring buy happened a little after 11am EST at $32.37. It was hard to see because of all the other madness going on.

For the 4th night in a row, there was a substantial share borrow right before the DTCC overnight Continuous Net Settlement (CNS) operations started and for the 4th night in a row, the shares were returned right after CNS concluded at 1:30-2:00. They aren’t even hiding it.

Today, Computershare recurring buys filled at a price of $26.66 between 10:59-11:15 EST. This puts the fill in the second time window. The first fill period of 10:47EST had almost 0 volume on the 1-minute. Second window fills generally happen when DXY gets weird around fill 1 time.

For the past 3 days, GME shares have been lent right before the DTCC nighttime continuous net settlement (starts at 21:00 EST), then returned right after (01:30 EST). Is someone trying to skirt around the CNS process? If so, why?🤔

The $125 16Jan2026 PUT. It is an algorithmically traded pseudo inverse ETF of GME that was created during the May run as a way to add a short GME position into a custom swap basket.

GME shares are being borrowed to coincide with the DTCC Continuous Net Settlement Cycle in an attempt to circumvent the netting process... problem is that it gives us (retail) visibility into their shenanigans and shows us how they exploit the system.

GME may have been manipulated down yesterday (02 December 2024)in the middle of the day due to institutions trying to fake the amount of liquidity in the monetary system, and GME was (for some reason) dragged long with it.
