Why isn't the imperial japan symbol and the hammer and sickle deemed not as offensive as the swastika
So recently I have been looking into the topic of imperial Japan during ww2, from reading a book about unit 731 and the horrid crimes committed, to reading accounts of how the Japanese troops treated the Chinese and killed approximately 10million of the population. I rather not repeat exactly all the gorey details as it was tough to read.
So anyway I recently had a 'discussion' on YouTube about this topic well I would of liked it to be a discussion. But I was just dismissed of factual points I made and called a wehraboo or something, so I come to Reddit to ask why aren't other totoltiarian state symbols not deemed as offensive even though they matched the scale of warcrimes if not out matched the scale of warcrimes of Germany, in particular, the Soviet Union and imperial Japan.
To clarify I am not downplaying the brutality of Germany.
