Should I quit ranked?

I only started playing Wild Rift in mid December, I wanted to play the real LoL but was intimidated by it so I figured the mobile version would be easier. My boyfriend is a veteran WR player and has helped me play from the start, teaching me strategies and helping me figure out that I'm a good ADC. I didn't start playing ranked until the beginning of January, but because I'm on a break from university and unemployed I have a lot of free time on my hands to play, so I quickly advanced and am now Platinum II. I enjoy playing ranked, it's my favorite game mode because it's just like PVP but with higher rewards and a fancy title. That being said, I'm still new and nowhere near amazing at this game. I'm only level 33. However with being at the Plat level, I've noticed that majority of the players in my parties are level 70+, usually in the 100s, and are insanely good at the lanes they play. I've also noticed that in Plat, players are a lot more active in chat and pings compared to Gold and below. I usually perform decently, averaging about 5 or so kills per game and a couple deaths. I try to stick to my tasks as an ADC, spending the beginning of the game farming last hit minions and trying not to die to buy upgrades for my main (Caitlyn) so that I can be a good shot towards the end of the match.

Anyways, I've been noticing that since ranking up to Plat, high level players love to berate me and call me out in chat for every little mistake or death or missed kill, especially when my main gets banned and I have to pick an alt ADC that I'm not as good at or if I'm assigned to a lane I hardly ever play. My mistakes get blamed on me being a female player (my tag is very feminine and I pretty much play only female champs, so it's obvious I guess) and I get called very hurtful, misogynistic things. I usually let one slide, then just mute the player if it continues, but it still irks me because I have to play the rest of the game knowing someone thinks I suck, and the rest of the party might think that too. I know that these people say these things because they're insecure about their own performance, they need to blame someone if we're losing, etc. but it is still highly annoying having to deal with this almost every game, even if we end up winning anyways. I'm starting to think that I kinda just speed-ran this mode and I'm just not good enough for my rank and I should spend more time in different modes trying to perfect my champ. I know I'm not amazing, but I don't think I'm bad either. Any advice is appreciated!

TLDR; I'm a new, low level ADC in Plat 2 and my 100+ level teammates say I suck in chat every game. Should I quit ranked?

Edit: Thank you all for the kind words, I was not expecting so many people to hype me up and give me advice! You all give me faith that there are good people in the WR community. Based on the majority of comments, I'm going to mute chat in ranked games permanently because, as many people have said, it's just not useful. I'm also going to experiment with other lanes and champs in normal modes - I have been playing ARAM a lot so I found a few that I like. Thanks again! <3
