Car for skier/backpacker for under 20k

22 year old grad student. Love to ski in the winter and backpack in the summer, spend most of my time in vermont. Looking for a car for under 20k that can take a roof rack for a ski rack, has some type of all wheel drive, gets decent gas mileage, and is semi spacious as I am 6’ 6”. What do y’all think?
