Visual Studio Code - Local AI

Hi, I'm new to Visual Studio Code (really coding in general) and I'm really interested in using AI to help me learn. I see that Github Copilot is a common one but wanted to see if anyone else had any recommendations. I would prefer something local if possible so I can use it at work.
