The Fontainebleau is a 735’ turd sandwich
The FB in Vegas is so bad and so gorgeous at the same time it’s upsetting. Message them weeks in advanced and told them my girlfriend is visiting the United States for the first time so can we have a good view of the sphere? They said we will do our best but no guarantees. Followed up and no reply. Get there, the gentleman working there says oh we can upgrade you but you will have to pay, because only King rooms (more expensive than queen) are facing that way. So to check in after we paid for the reservation in full was like an extra $440. Get to the room and it was ok. They charge you $9 if you want them to bring you a glass to drink the minibar champagne from. The pool is absolutely jam packed with people even though there is like 4 pools. A drink at the pool is about $55 after tip and if you make it a double. My girlfriend was drinking it and a custodian came with a little grabber and threw it in the trash without asking a single question and my gf got really mad. Yay me. Messaged the hotel a few more times with no help, and talked to a manager who was quite rude. I then go on Google to see that the overpricing (nachos) and the bad customer service are frequent one star complaints. How’s a hotel that’s so expensive, so new, so big, so bad?
