Controlled substances and van life?

I'm nowhere near starting van life, not sure if I ever will, but I've been doing a lot of research and highly debating it.

One big concern of mine is, I take two controlled substances (testosterone and Vyvanse) and need these to get through life

However, I know that controlled substances are not able to just be transferred willy nilly. It was a pain even transferring 2 hours away within the same state.

Is it even possible to travel when you have to take controlled substances? It's not like theu can be prescribed in bulk either, so I'm not sure how it would work (if it would even work at all)
