How long on Oxy after the surgery?

I had my Aortic Valve Repair Surgery (Mini -Sternotomy) done on 02/03/2025. It's been more than 2 weeks. So I tried to start weaning off Oxy and as soon as I tried to lower the doze, I felt zero energy to work all day, was mostly sleeping because the pain was enough to bother me all day but not too much to be unbearable.

How long were you guys on Oxy after the Surgery ? When did you start weaning off? Is 1 month or 6 weeks expected to be on Oxy ?
