Why isn't Uber protecting their female drivers?!
I've only been driving with Uber for 2 months and I've had more than a few occurrences of male riders making me feel unsafe, uncomfortable, touching me, making passes at me, etc. After looking into the programs offered they have a preference for female riders to request female drivers (if they're available) but that option isn't available to female drivers to set the same preference. Why the heck not??? Uber started in the US and this option has been made available in Argentina, Australia, Canada, India and Latin America. I've contacted support each and every time and filed a report with Uber and all they do is block me from being paired with the rider in the future... The company has been around for 16 years and women drivers have been sexually assaulted, raped and murdered. I'm just mindblown and infuriated.
