Traveling to Mutianyu: How to Get There and Back Easily?

Hey everyone! I'll be in Beijing next week and I'm planning to visit the Mutianyu section of the Great Wall on Tuesday. I want to get there as early as possible, but I'm not sure about the best way to do it. Should I hire a private driver, or would using DiDi be a good option? I've heard that getting to the Wall isn't too difficult with DiDi, but it can be tricky to find a ride back. Any advice or recommendations would be appreciated!
