[TOMT][Movie][90s/2000s]Three people trapped under the snow(maybe one is a kid)

There is this movie where 3 people end up trapped under the snow. I think both of them are male and one is a kid. They are trapped with a bad guy. This bad guy wants to escape and leave the others trapped. The adult and the kid escape in a vehicle. This causes the snow to fall and trap them in the car. I am not sure if they are in a cabin or in a mine. The adult then lights a matchstick and you can see that the flame is dimming, signifying that they are running out of oxygen. Time later some men start digging and find them trapped in the vehicle and rescue them.

This move has some similarity to Dante's Peak but that isn't the movie. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
