[PS2][2000s] It also might be wrong

Set in Japan, the game starts with a cutscene where a princess is praying at a shrine while getting surrounded by spiderlike creatures with skulls for heads. Then a Werewolf samurai hybrid appears out of the sky and fights them off. The rest of the game is you playing as the werewolf and fighting these creatures in waves and gaining territory ? It was a bootleg CD my dad got me from Turkey that i could play on the PS2. So the console & year might not even be correct. Pls help a brother out.
