Recommended work panniers for GSD?

Anyone have tips for work panniers?

I recently got a s10 and have been having lots of fun with it! I have a yepp maxi on the back and a seat cushion and front rack on it right now.

But I also use it to go to work after dropping off the kids. Once I get to work and lock up the bike, I have to take off the bike bag and walk a bit before I get to my desk. The bag must be able to carry a 16 inch laptop and also hold some spare clothes

I have a thule shield pannier, but saw that it was scratching the paint on the gsd where it attaches to the rack.

I then tried getting an ortleib vario, because it has the ability to swap easily between straps and bike mode. However, it looks like ortlieb's clips will not go on the GSD's rack either because the tubes are too thick.

Tern's panniers look massive and can carry a lot, but they seem permanent to the bike and not easily reattachable.

Anyone else using the tern gsd for work that can advise?
