2015 Gold TDI DPF Delete Hell

Hello all, I'm considering deleting my golf and getting a stage 2 Malone tune as my warranty is nearly over. I was wondering if there is any possible way to do the dpf delete cheaply. The cheapest kit I could find is from darkside which is close to $700. I was thinking of gutting the stock dpf of it's filter and using it with a tune. If anyone has any suggestions please lmk thanks.
