Potential of a season 9

Has there been any talks about a potential season 9 , we havnt been told there isn't a season 9 but I don't want to assume we will have a season 9 . Ofc it probably comes down to if season 8 comes across well or other if budget issues come across . IF there is a season 9 can we pwease have some street action possibly where longbeach swat needs help from 20 squad .
