Has anyone experienced long lasting negative emotional/physical side effects from a salpingectomy?

I have read about all the positive things that come from a tubal ligation but I’m wondering what negative side effects people have experienced? And how long they’ve lasted? I’m talking hot flashes, hair loss, and mood swings… ya know.. the stuff nobody really wants to talk about.

I am in my mid 20s and do not have any children. I never want children of my own. It’s just not for me. (I respect those that have different opinions for their own bodies). I have tried many forms of birth control and they all make me crazy emotional. It’s not the way I want to live.

I’m a little worried that if I get this surgery I’ll have to live with the negative side effects for the rest of my life. Are there any women out there that have experienced this?
