Pain after tubal salpingectomy

I’m a 22 year old female who got sterilized (bilateral salpingectomy) dec. 9th. It’s dec 17th and it’s the first day i go back to work (i’m a server) and i have a sharp almost stabbing like pain on my left side towards the middle of my lower abdomen below my stitches. The pain was so bad I had to leave. I’ve checked other reddit posts of people saying they had to take little to no time off of work. it’s been 8 days and i’m relatively healthy. do you guys have any advice on what i should do? unfortunately, my gyno’s office can be very dismissive and patronizing and i feel like if i reach out they’re just going to say the pain is normal. if you press down on the area that hurts, you can feel a lump there. i know it’s not a hernia but im just really confused and upset that im taking so long to recover. is this normal??
