Gender Identity

about a week ago I applied to a couple of open positions and last night while I was sleeping I was informed via E-mail that positions I had applied to had expired. Today I went on the Starbucks careers website to reapply to those same positions since the postings were refreshed today and I noticed that despite being given the option to identify as non-binary when I applied last time, today when it comes to what your options are for gender, they literally only provide two (obviously male and female) or the option to decline to self identify. Obviously, I can’t say I’m too surprised with the new administration, I’m sure we all expected this to happen with almost every corporation or company in America but honestly, I just have to say that coming from Starbucks this is definitely an interesting choice… the immediate change is a very clear indication of where they stand as a company and what changes they’re prioritizing.
