Talk me out of selling it.
Rescued this from tweekers a few years back. Seven layers of spray paint, roll on paint and appliance hit temp enamel. Crack pipes in the dash, needles hidden under the seat, wrong VIN on the bill of sale, had to start it with pliers, tag from a 96 Corolla, the whole nine. Guy needed money for court so I Gave him $800 and drove it home.
But it's got a cammed 305 with a Victor Jr i take and a 4bbl Edel, and now runs like a top. No rust aside from the cab corners, and it isn't that bad.
I cut the frame in December of 22, taught myself to weld and built a deep notch, bagged it on a diy two link. York 210, old freon cans for about 15 gallons of air. Totally manual, four bags with two switches.
Work has gotten increasingly hectic and I'm just getting frustrated with it. I keep telling myself to shit or get off the pot, all I need to do is mess with the rear travel a bit and iron out some kinks but it's just looming over me and stressing me out. Can't find ANYONE in my area that fabricates or builds ANYTHING so there's no shade tree mechanic support.
