Tips on getting up from a seated position?

I know about rolling over and stand up from my knees.

How do I get my 6'2 lanky-ass frame back straight up from sitting position, comfortably and consistently?

I've heard the tip about holding onto your edge and using your other hand behind to push up, my body weight won't cross the line. Also ill just stand and clip in, but yeah I'd like to be able to do that little maneuver.
