Why Ebony Warrior said something about Sovngarde?

I defeated him today and when he died he said something like "At last Sovngarde" How's that possible if he is Redguard and only honorable Nords can enter Sovngarde?

Or maybe ebony warrior is also chosen by Akatosh so he can also enter Sovngarde after death?
