The best side hustle I've found
I have a master's degree and work full time, but chose a field that pays poor, so I often need extra cash to make ends meet. For the last few years, I've done yardwork and house chores primarily through Nextdoor. Nextdoor is a social media app, but you have to enter your address to use it, and it will only display people in your community. The benefit of this is that you can quickly throw up a listing about yourself, and will often get replies same-day. The pay will range depending on the work and your area, but I can consistently get $20/h to do yardwork (weeding, leaf cleanup, etc) just by virtue of being a friendly person in the community. If you're looking for $100 a day here and there, just finding a local person who needs help around the yard and house is perfect, and nextdoor is a really great app for that thing and that thing only. I would advise against using it for much else than that, as it is primarily populated by the worlds most extreme karens. If you're comfortable working for those Karens, download the app and get working. List yourself for weeding, gutters, leaves, cleaning, whatever you feel you could do.
