SATC Ending

I know I'm decades late but I just finished the show for the first time.

it seemed like the ending was too rushed.

the way Carrie confronted Big was TOO PERFECT, and they just had to ruin it with her bouncing back to him again in less than 10 mins screentime and cheap dialogue?

not to mention, Carrie's speech at the end, "but the best relationship is the one you have with YOURSELF." but why it shows her phone with Big's name? wouldn't it be better if the point of the show is that you don't need to settle for shitty men in your life when you can just be happy for yourself?

it doesn't make sense at all, I'm just completely shocked and confused in an annoyed way.
