Scars not fading

I cut myself a lil too deep about 2 months ago, the wound is all healed now I suppose. the scabs have peeled off but the skin is still pink. There has been no difference in the scar since past 3-4 weeks, I was expecting the pink skin to fade away but it hasn't. Any advice or recommended products which can make scars fade away faster?
