Will I be overdressed for formal night?

So I'm planning on wearing my sister's old dress on formal night on our cruise this summer. It's a pageant dress so very loud and very fancy (bright orange and pink with a kinda long train). Would it be too much for formal night? I just don't wanna be overdressed or at least prepared if I may receive weird looks for it.

Edit: the train isn't as long as I remember and there's a way for me to easily carry it if it does present a problem like many people are saying. I think I'll be alright. Thanks so much for all your helpful feedback!
