Tell Me Why We'll Be Horrible Next Year

I'd love to hear some honest assessments of why you think we'll be terrible next year. I think there's no chance we're contenders, as we don't have a top five player. But, assuming health (yes, ass of you an me...), and no trades (I'm also hoping we make some) we have legit NBA talent at nearly every position:

PG: Ant, Scoot, Brogdon, Banton

SG: Sharpe, Tisse, Rupert

SF: Camara, (Lottery Pick)

PF: Grant, (Lottery Pick), Walker

C: Ayton, Timelord, Duop

What's the real analysis on why that team is at the bottom of the West next year, instead of a playoff team that could make a little noise if things broke our way. Is it primarily that the West is so loaded that even this decent (good?) roster just has no chance?

To clarify, I'm not trying to be pollyanish. I just would love to hear the pessimistic analysis of that roster. Additionally, I'm not making the argument we should pursue this path to the middle. My dream is Ace Bailey. But, if the front office doesn't make any big moves beyond the lottery picks, why will this team be bad enough to have a chance at Ace next year?
