How to power dispenser from below

Hello im trying to put item filters around the 4 sides of the dispenser and power it from below but whatever i try it locks the hoppers context: im playing on a server where if a chicken spawns from an egg being thrown you get xp so i want the hoppers to feed the dispencers with eggs but filter out the raw chicken and the feathers
