Was Drake’s diss track “leak” calculated?

Dunno if anyone else talked about this. When it initially leaked, everyone was talking about how it sounded like AI because it didn’t feel like Drake (production, mixing/master, how he sounds, etc). Then conveniently later, another leak drops that addresses all the concerns people had.

That would mean that Drake wanted to test the waters; dip his toe in to make sure it’s safe instead of going in headfirst. Kinda feels like a very safe, smart, but pussy move to me? Idk. If people didn’t end up fucking with the initial track at all, he could’ve EASILY hid behind the guise of it being AI and not him to dodge any heat.

I fuck with this track heavy, but what y’all think?
