Back up camera issues

Got this 2020 3.0 luxe 5 months ago just like this from the dealership they gave me another back up camera and told me to take it to a shop they knew of and it would be covered… I never ended up going because I had no time and they were trying to keep my car for a day i didn’t know it took that long to mess with a back up camera regardless of it all… Can it possibly be loose wiring and should I try to mess with it myself or just get the “new one” installed?
