I failed my glucose test. How likely is gestational diabetes?

I had the one hour test and got the results 182 mg/dl. From what I’ve seen online, that seems pretty high. My OB says to come back Monday for the 3 hour test to confirm GD. Has anyone had a similar experience? What should I expect? I’m 27w5d today.
