Coming home?

Hello,

I am a Polish-born citizen of the USA, but for a few years have been considering returning to my homeland. I never renounced my Polish citizenship, but would probably need to do some extensive paperwork to get everything back in order. My bigger concern is my American wife. She's trying very hard to learn the language, but hasn't been successful and we don't know if she would be welcome there, or how she would be able to find work. However, with the USA quickly turning into a...lesser place, we feel like we need to begin thinking more seriously about this as an option.

Where to begin?
