Questions about gamesharing

So, my buddy and I wanna game share. I know the steps, but when I successfully download his game on my ps5, his account should be set to secondary, so he won't be able to play without connection and on other accounts on his console, logically. So, if he sets it back to primary, I will be the one who won't be able to play without connection and on other accounts on my console, but if I delete his account, that won't happen, but would I still be able to play his game? Since it's now on my console? If not, is there any other way we both can have full control over our consoles?
