Helix bump advice?
It looks wet because I just sprayed it to clean it. Also this is the best photo I could get as I didn't want to keep moving my ear to take more.
This helix is about 8 months old now, it is a stud from the piercer shop, so i believe it's stainless steel. I have been battling an irritation bump for a bit now, or so I think it is. If I go too long in not spraying within the day, it gets itchy. I use a piercing pillow to not sleep on it anymore and spray it ones a day with saline solution. When I went to down size it at around 3 months, I was told they can't due to the bump and to use chamomile tea compress for two weeks.
Am i correct that this is just an irritation bump or is it something else? Am I doing anything wrong in my aftercare?
