Has anyone here lived in Devil's Pocket?

Partner and I are interested in a property near the Vicinity Energy plant. Does anyone here have experience with this? Loud noises? Bad smells? Anything else we should be weary of (or excited about) in this area?

Edit: I did just read about the Steam Leak and loud noise back in January.
