It isn't "men are criminals" its "criminals are criminals"

it isn't "men are predators" it is "predators are predators", it isn't "men are r#pists" it is "r#pists are r#pists"

I'm so frustrated at this, generalising a CRIME to one gender literally disregards other victims' experiences, I get so mad when people say "Men are (said crime)", it's like saying "Your trauma doesn't count because your oppressor wasn't a man", I don't care if it's just a phrase, ANY form of generalization SHOULDN'T be tolerated like AT ALL if anything it defeats the whole purpose of being a feminist as well which is FIGHTING generalizations

Like I've seen the disgusting remarks people make to men who were victims of SA, "Was she hot?" "you got lucky" "You won" Like excuse me?? REGARDLESS of gender, a CRIME is a CRIME.

and to add to that, using a minority committing a crime as an excuse to be a shitty person to said minorities are STILL disregarding what the victim went through, it's like saying "I'm going to use your literal trauma to be shitty to other people"

And I'm not saying this to ignore statistics, I'm very much aware statistically men are more likely to commit crimes, and I agree because its statistics, its proven, you can't argue with that but using statistics to generlize DOESNT WORK! Statistics and generalization shouldn't be in the same sentence

And let me get one thing clear, I'm not saying this by being a pick me or saying "I defend mens rights and wrongs" because that literally takes away from what I'm trying to say I'm saying this to defend the victims

To sum it all up, crimes shouldn't be a gender thing

have a goodnight everyone, i really needed to speak up about this
