High Frequency, Low volume

I've heard a lot of news going around about high frequency low volume training because it's a known thing that frequency is much more important than volume is.

I heard it first from the Mike Sommerfeld YouTube channel and that he is doing U/L x 3 a week and resting on the end of the week.

Now he is an enhanced athlete of course so he does have some more volume in there that he is able to recover from properly and can manage fatigue much better. So it's not exactly the best example however.

My question is would I be better off doing U(upper)/L(lower)/R(rest) ( Repeat )

Rather than having another U/L right after one another and resting when needed.

Thanks for any advice/ help. 👍
