Is it weird to want Winter to win?

Or rather succeed, I mean he is a treacherous, cowardly, prick but also him getting out of Duskmourn and figuring what to do with himself could be really cool. As well as I can't find to much fault with someone who's goal is survive the horror movie. Character could get better, be more hopeful maybe realize what he owes to other people or just be a reoccurring villain as a wildcard show up and cause chaos trying to get is own way now that he can gain rather than avoid loss. Like become a crime boss on Capena or something.

And the thing I am noticing in the story he is being watched, but if say the Speed Demon gets Krumpt he can just bounce.
