Anyone find themselves rooting for LEGIT villains from time to time?

Not anti heroes or borderline villains but legit bad guys. Just rewatched a flick called Unhinged on Neflix starring Russell Crowe. It is established right from the beginning that he is the bad guy. But when he encountered the protagonist in the film, a smidge of me felt for him, his wife cheated on him and he admitted to having a hard time, he even apologized for his road error, but she had this snarky egotistical response that really irked me. Again I know he is the 100% bad guy and he already crossed a line prior. I guess my rooting for him can be narrowed down only to the two scenes where the white knight got smashed trying to help the protagonist, and the divorce lawyer getting offed, because well most men hate divorce lawyers lol.
