Should I restart my starters?

Started in November, my loctician made the first few locs much smaller than what I wanted, but got them styled and only noticed after my first retwist. Meaning i've got a full head of noticeably different sizes coils, some as small as sisterlocs and as big as standards. I don't want to start again cause my hair is 4c but heat damaged and they're finally starting to bud, don't want to go through the whole process again.

I've paid a deposit for another loctician to comb them out and redo the parts how i'd like em, but that would mean setting me back a few months again. I'm not sure what to do. I've just started to love the way they look and I fear they won't look the same. Am I able to combine the thin ones to avoid combing them all out?
