[Online][PTU][Roll20][EST][GMT] Players for the Pokémon Tabletop Game Wanted on Saturdays!

In a rather unusual request, I'm looking for a few people who may be interested in playing a Pokémon TTRPG. I recently found and started to really enjoy the system as a fan of both Pokémon and D&D and want to find more people to play it with, so I'm spreading the word that this niche game exists and am extending a hand to those who may be interested. If you are at all a fan of Pokémon or TTRPGs and might be interested in this type of game, please apply!

The game would take place at about 10am EST or 2pm GMT on Saturdays. Though this time is slightly negotiable, I personally live in Western Australia so pushing the game much further forward might end up as an issue.

About the GM:

Hi, my name is Luke (though everyone calls me Sky) and I've been a DM for D&D for about the last 4 years. I've run all kinds of games in that system. Recently, I've been looking to expand out to playing some different systems and types of games. Between my love for Pokémon and my love for TTRPGs I found my way to this system and have spent some time toying with it and figuring it out.

About the System/Game:

Pokémon Tabletop United is a system made to allow people to play as Pokémon Trainers in a world filled with Pokémon. In a lot of ways it tries to combine the ideas of different numbers, moves, abilities and types from the games with storytelling closer to that of the anime, albeit more mature. It uses it's own rules and stats, so there is a bit of learning involved to get started, but the battle system on the player end is pretty simple once you get the basic idea down, and I am more than happy to help people learn. It's built around cooperation much like most other TTRPGs, so team battles are the norm. All together, it creates a fun and engaging system anyone with an interest in Pokémon can enjoy.

The game is run through Roll20, which does most of the math for stat crunching on its own which is very nice. Discord is used to communicate and a decent quality mic is definitely appreciated so I and other players can understand you.

I don't particularly have a template for applications for this game since I don't expect anyone to know much about the system, but if you are interested if you could please include the following information about yourself that's much appreciated:

Player Name:

Age:

Timezone:

A little bit about yourself (A single sentence or two will do):

What's your experience with TTRPGs & Pokémon?:

Thanks for your time, and hope to see you soon!
