Which laptop should I get

hey guys, hope yall are well.
Im planning to buy a laptop for university (im a med-student) and gaming (mostly sims 4 and assassin's creed and maybe tomb raider), but im confused between 3 laptops.
Im mostly looking for a portable laptop, although i dont take it with me to uni as frequent as before. As well as a laptop that doesn't overheat much and lag.
My current laptop is HP Envy 13 13 inch, and if I could find the same laptop with better specs, i'd be grateful. It lasted 5 years now! i got it back in 2019 with a 3840 x 2160 screen, Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-1035G1 and 8 GB RAM, 512 GB SSD. smh it managed to run sims 4 with all my mods, i played some old assassin's creed games, so I'd say its suitable for light gaming. Best of all, it has a metal casing and survived 3 falls (i even bent the motherboard smh and it's still working, but I've been told it'll kick the bucket soon). Now it started to glitch, lag horribly, and since my med books are pdf files, they dont load quickly (they're at least 1000 pages long and it take 30 minutes to load a chapter). This laptop tho is suprisingly light, so its highly portable. one more advantage is that it was pretty cheap for it's specs, around 3100 AED in a back to school sale lol. I also forgot the proper ventillation (not when i run my 53 GB sims 4 tho.. it overheats a lot O_o)

The laptop I need right now should be with a little higher specs, with this, i hope it wont lag with my 1000 page pdf books and 100+ tabs open when i do research, projects and open downloaded videos for my studies. I also need it with metal casing and more lightweight, cuz if i took it to uni or airports it might get squished and squeezed in metros and busses :-: And to also survive the possible horrible falls my poor HP went thru (he's a real hero for that LOL). Smh the most afforadable laptops with the specs i need were gaming laptops, though im worried about the weight.

As for the games, i dont mind if the laptop didnt support much of my high GB games cuz im mainly focusing on studies (except sims, it's my hobby to make a collection of hot sims :-:). As long as it wont overheat with sims4 and my huge pdfs, anything's fine.

My budget is max 4000 AED, but if i got it from amazon, then 4500 AED is also fine. I tried as much as I can to avoid gaming laptops, cuz that's not really my main purpose for a laptop. However, all of them had good specs with integrated graphics, so I stayed away from them. Also idk about 2 in 1s and touch screens. I doubt they'll live long and survive my falls.. :-: that's an actual serious issue with me omg T^T I know damn well if that thing falls, i just have to say goodbye to it. Also no metal casing :(

As soon as I saw the word \"ENVY\" I clicked LOL. So this one's for less than 4200 AED in a store i found. The specs are pretty much aligning with my needs. Im hoping it's not a touch screen, altho ideal for my studies, I feel like 2 in 1 and touchscreen wont last long.. And would never survive the falls.. (yes this is a massive issue with me and im ashamed). One thing im worried about is the ventilation. Cuz my envy is ventilated from the base and along the screen length. The only ventilation area i saw here is a very short space on the left side near the USB ports and maybe from the back. So im suspecting it'd overheat much easily. The weight wasn't written in the shop's website, but it's 2.34 kgs in amazon.. which is higher than what I'd prefer.

Since ENVY served me well, i supposed another HP laptop wud too. this one's less than 4000 AED, sort of sus since it's a gaming laptop. I did hear about overheating issues with OMEN laptops tho, i hope if someone wud confirm this. Also it's 2.35 kgs according to the website. Atp i dont think i can find a cheap laptop with all these specs and ALSO lightweight.. but if yall know about one, pls inform me! :-:

last on is lenovo legion 5 slim. Im hoping \"slim\" means lighter weight :-: so far this one's the best i cud get, i think. I am concerned about the weight of the laptop and its charger too. Also does anyone know how long i can optimize the battery life, cuz im mostly gonna use it for studies. Also did anyone face overheating with it? I heard it has very good ventilation. It even had the most vents between the 3 laptops i found. One thing im confused about is choosing between AMD Ryzen 7 as indicated in the picture or intel i7 (im tryna find this one). I dont know much about the difference, but i heard AMD helps a bit with the battery life. Can anyone confrm this please :y:

Thank you guys so much if you've read this far. I hope yall can help me with this. If anyone has any recommendations, I'd appreciate if you tell me about them! <3
