Internet problems after the Palestine events

I don’t wanna enter conspiracy theorist territory here but this can’t be a coincidence, my internet is perfectly decent and i never had any problems with it for the past year, after i started constantly posting about Palestine on social media my internet has been acting funny, Instagram not sending messages and stories taking forever to upload, i even used a vpn and somehow it made the internet fast again and the second i turn off then the connection issues are back, how the hell can this be even possible? A lot of my friends are experiencing the same thing as well
