I think I hate my couch

Just received delivery from Costco about 15 min ago. Purchased this couch on sale for $999.99. Visually, I don't like the ribbed texture on the couch and the color really. Above all else, it's not as soft as l'd like. After a 12 hour work day, I want to sit on a couch that feels like a hug. This is not that.

I'm going to give it a week to see if it grows on me before I stain it.

In the meantime, I'm going to resume my hunt for a couch. I've primarily been searching at stores like CB2 & West Elm.

Please send your recommendations if you have any. I'd probably prefer to see the couch in person this go around; I'm in San Francisco. I want to aim for a higher quality brand and expand my budget to $3,500.
