National forests at risk

Hi all! If you haven’t seen, Trump recently signed an executive order declaring that the US will start clearing large swathes of national forest for timber. If you love skiing like I do, you depend on these national forests - 122 ski areas in the US are inside national forests.

If this is something you feel strongly about, I want to encourage you to take a minute to call your representative and let them know - especially if that representative is a republican. Susan Collins needs to hear your voice. These forests belong to YOU and should be passed down so future generations can keep skiing. Calling your rep takes only a few min, and I almost never talk to a person, just leave a polite message letting them know that national forests matter to me. Let’s all take a page out of Lucy Welch’s book and take action to protect the forests we ski and love. ❤️✊
