How to widen path without concrete

Hi, I need to widen this path to the red area so I can push my bbq out there - it’s about 600 lbs so I really don’t want a wheel going over the edge and it dumping on the ground. It needs to be pretty level bc it is on casters not off-road wheels. Place is a rental so I can’t lay concrete. It’s just dirt on the side. Mild climate but rain does pool there sometimes. I was thinking dig a bit and use pavers or cinder blocks or similar but idk if 600 lbs on casters is too heavy for that. Any ideas?
